Q&A

When you think you may be pregnant, your mind is often full of questions. We are glad you’ve turned to New Life Pregnancy Center as a starting place to finding information about your options. Below we have listed a few of the basic questions about our services that others, like you, have asked. If you have additional questions, please give us a call today at (217) 872-5556.

What types of services does New Life Pregnancy Center offer and how much do they cost?

All of our services are free of charge and confidential. We offer:
* Reliable, lab-quality pregnancy testing and immediate results
* People you can trust – Confidential, compassionate client advocates
* Pregnancy options consultations
* Trustworthy referrals for medical services, adoption services or financial assistance
* The resources you need for your future including how to continue your job or education
* Baby and mom supplies for active and eligible clients.

Do I need to make an appointment?

In order to best serve you, we encourage you to make an appointment. Since our client advocates are busy with scheduled appointments, we are only able to take a limited number of walk-ins for pregnancy testing. We have a variety of morning, afternoon and limited evening appointment times. Just give us a call or click here to make an appointment and we will work with you to schedule a time that is convenient.

How long will a pregnancy testing appointment take and will I need to bring anything?

We make your appointment as quick and easy as possible. It’s best to allow 45 minutes to one hour for your appointment. You don’t need to bring a thing.

How accurate are your pregnancy tests and how long will it takes to receive my results?

We provide you lab-quality urine testing. The accuracy depends on the concentration of HCG present in the provided urine sample. You will receive the results during your appointment.

Will my family/boyfriend find out?

All of our services are confidential, as allowed by law. We legally cannot share your information unless you give us written permission. If a parent or boyfriend calls or stops by the center, we will not release information about you or your visit.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, you can bring your boyfriend, a friend, or a relative with you. After your client advocate has recorded your basic information, anyone you bring along, with your permission, has an opportunity to join you during the consultation session.

Does New Life Pregnancy Center perform or refer for abortion?

Because of the risks associated with abortion, we do not perform or refer for abortions. We do provide information on the risks and procedures of abortion, as well as alternatives. For more than 20 years, we have helped educate women about all aspects of abortion to empower them to make the best decision. We also provide post-abortion support.

What if I do not have insurance?

Our services are provided free of charge. During your pregnancy testing appointment, we will share many community resources with you and make a referral for prenatal care.

Your center is located too far from where I live. How can I find a pregnancy center near me?
