Providing a home for moms and their newborn baby
Hope House is a residency program providing comprehensive care and support for mothers as they build independent lives for themselves and their newborn children during their baby’s first year of life. Women, in their last trimester of pregnancy, are welcomed into a safe and loving family home that provides life-changing programs and supportive services.
ABOUT HOPE HOUSE
Hope House is a residential home that provides mothers and their newborn child a safe and encouraging environment where they will receive practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Hope House accommodates four women and their newborn babies for a period of approximately one year. Hope House is supported by House Parents – a married couple who live on-site, a full-time Program Director, and numerous volunteers.
WHO WE SERVE
We serve women, ages 18 and older, and their newborn baby through the first year of the baby’s life.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND
Hope House is situated on ten acres in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Each mother and child share a private bedroom while also sharing common areas with other residents and staff.
While at Hope House, residents will learn important life, parenting, and home management skills such as how to maintain a healthy and clean living environment, budgeting skills, how to access healthcare and social services, as well as appropriate and healthy parenting skills.
Residents are required to help with and assist in maintaining the property and the home, thereby learning valuable skills in caring for a home, as well as being good neighbors.
